Ladies and Gentlemen, 

It is with great honour and heartfelt warmth that I welcome you to the 4^th International Conference on Medical and Health Sciences (4^th ICMHS), held in conjunction with the ASEAN Medical School Network (ASEAN Research Collaborative Fund-ARCF) and the 25^th National Conference on Medical and Health Sciences (25^th NCMHS), here in the vibrant city of Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia. 

This year’s theme, ‘Preparing for Future Challenges in Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences’, is both timely and forward-thinking. It captures the urgency and vision we must embrace as healthcare professionals in a rapidly evolving world. With emerging technologies, shifting epidemiological landscapes, and global health uncertainties, we are reminded that innovation and collaboration are no longer optional; they are imperative. 

This three-day convergence of minds, from national experts to international pioneers, provides a fertile ground for exchange, inspiration, and capacity-building. Through plenary lectures, multidisciplinary symposiums, and interactive forums, the conference aims to strengthen research, spark new collaborations, and equip us with the tools to navigate the complexities of healthcare in the years ahead. 

We are especially privileged to co-host this event alongside the ASEAN Medical School Network, reflecting our shared commitment to regional integration and mutual growth in education and research. As we celebrate the 25^th edition of NCMHS, we also honour a legacy of excellence and community built on knowledge, resilience, and purpose.

Let this gathering be more than a meeting. It is an opportunity to forge a united vision, to challenge conventional boundaries, and to prepare boldly for the future we must shape together.
